"-A women wing of GSF"

 

GSF has been working for Govt school students of rural areas since 2008 in different ways to provide our support.

Educating adolescent girls on health, hygiene, menstruation, sexual abuse which are not covered as a part of the regular curriculum help the students to explore a universe beyond their textbooks, and specific inputs are necessary to enhance their self esteem and self confidence to familiarize them with the status and problems related to women.

Main themes covered during the SHE Camps:

1) Health, Hygiene, Nutrients,

2) Menstrual management,

3) Gender equality, Pranayama, counselling

4) Self Defence

5) Empower the girl child about sexual abuse, child trafficking, social awareness and child rights.

So, SAADRI....A women wing of GSF has planned to organise ”SHE” program that is “Awareness camps for the adolescent girls”.

We believe small steps must be taken to educate girls on the seriousness of this matter. We hope these awareness camps will be beneficial to girls.
